Biden’s claims of a “Strong Economy”

Low “Unemployment Numbers:” The “Unemployment Numbers” only count those that are actually seeking employment. Those not seeking employment are not counted. Generous welfare payments began being given to the unemployed during COVID. Many today, find that the welfare, unemployment monies, which are not taxed, may yield sums not so different or greater than what they were previously earning.

The actual official statistic that tells the true story is the “Labor Participation Rate.” This is a official stat generated by Federal Reserve system. This looks at all those of working age and compares that to the number actually employed. This is used to generate a stat called: “The Labor Participation Rate” is only 62%; historically this is quite low.

Inflation is greatly misunderstood by many. Most believe “inflation” is rising wages and prices. However, this is the effect of inflation. “Inflation” refers to the inflating of the money supply which diminishes the value of the currency. A lower value currency is observed as higher prices across the economy. While sectors can be affected by specific changes, like increasing crime and denying access to economically priced energy. Prices in general, have risen 18% since Biden took office.

Crime has exploded under Democrat rule. Back to the 1970’s there was a move to “de-incarceration” which was adopted by the Democrat Party. This has been expressed as reducing prison populations. Today looters roam freely without fear pf penalty. Prison may not “cure” many committed to a life of crime, but it will keep the criminal out of contact with society, cutting short their criminal career.
